The Cat Snaps® Privacy Policy describes how Cat Snaps® treats personal information when you use the Cat Snaps® app (the "App") and the Cat Snaps® web site (the "Site").

What Information Is Collected?

The information that is collected when you use the App is a generated device identifier and IP address. Information that is collected while using the Site includes your IP address, computer operating system, browser version and language setting, screen resolution, and referring URL. This information is used to help diagnose server issues, to provide statistics/usage traffic information, and to stop malicious behavior when using the App.

While using Cat Snaps, information about your usage of the App may be captured, such as clicking/tapping on UI elements in the App. To that end, in order to aid in improving the Cat Snaps experience, Cat Snaps makes use of the Google Firebase Analytics API, which may place a tag (also called a "web beacon") on your device or browser. Content Shared using the App

The App makes use of third party sharing services including but not limited to Twitter, Facebook, and Tumblr. The privacy notices of these web sites or services govern the use of your personal information associated with them. Cat Snaps is not responsible for the privacy policies or your adherence to the terms of use on these services. You agree that submitting any personal information to any and/or all of these services in conjunction with Cat Snaps, even if voluntarily disclosed, is your responsibility. You are also encouraged to review the Terms of Use.

Uses

The Site and the App employ the use of "cookies," web beacons, and log file information to: (a) store information so that you will not have to re-enter it during your next session; (b) monitor aggregate metrics such as total number of visitors and pages viewed; and (c) track your submissions and activity (eg: how many photos have been taken per user, how many photos have been shared, etc). This information is solely used to improve the App.

Information That is Publicly Available

Any images that you submit to the App may be redistributed through the internet and other media channels, including those mentioned in "Content Shared using the App" and may be viewed by other Cat Snaps users and the general public.

Cancellation/Termination

Cat Snaps may ban your device ID and/or IP address from using the App, for any reason at its sole discretion without prior notice. In addition, you may remove the app from your iOS or Android device at any time.
